I know you are in heaven and are looking down at your family with love in your heart..your story made me cry, but know it is not in vain that you have left this world that filled you with the pain and suffering you had..your heavenly father knew it was time to call you home..I know this will help many people and so many were blessed to know you..i did not know you but was looking up this page..I pray for healing in your mom and dads life and others who loved you..and maybe they will make a page on facebook so many can talk..I am ill but doctors cannot seem to figure things out. Knowing this is what you went thru and know that you are missed i am sure by so many..they will see you again..running, laughing and in no pain..r.i.p. sincerly linda

It's been 10 years son. It's hard to believe and hard to deal with but you've helped so many people over the years since you've been gone that your leaving us was not wasted. You've inspired many people with and without Wilson's Disease since the inception of this website and you will keep inspiring people as long as it exists!

I love you Jeff. I miss you tremendously. I hope to see you when my time comes!

My son Nick has WD and was diagnosed with it at age 13 1/2. He has cirrhosis of the liver. I wish that your son had been diagnosed early enough for him to continue his life for many more years! I hope that some day there will be a routine test for WD and that every child is screened. It sounds like his time on earth included some very happy times.

My step-son has Wilson's Disease. He has the rings in his eyes and is currently on medication. I know for sure he is taking Zinc but the doctor's say that the medication isn't working. He was just diagnosed at 16 years old. His blood platelets are too low for him to be put on the liver transplant list. He does have cirrosis of the liver. What can we do? thank you

I just learned of this page today. I learned of Jeff's passing a year ago. But was not sure on the details. He was a great friend and really helped to keep me grounded when I was about to fly off the end... I'm so sorry we lost touch when we did. He is missed so very much. Thank you Pat for putting this page together.

Im sorry to say I have just received word of Jeff's passing, he was one of my best high school friends and help me walk the right path, I honestly would not have made it without him as a friend, my world is a bit colder now. I am truely sorry for your loss.

Admin note:

In case anyone here doesn't speak Romanian, Cristina's message says:
"Sorry for the loss which you suffered. Nothing can replace your loss. But I know that God above takes care of him where he is."

That was very sweet of her. Romania seems to have a lot of Wilson's Disease people!

"Multumesc pentru natura cuvinte!"
Thank you for your kind words Cristina!
